The vast majority of our learners are excited to be here and don't want to leave. Some children with separation difficulties or stranger anxieties may need a few sessions to acclimate to their new environment. These kids are never forced to separate immediately from parents as it may cause undue stress. We work on gradual separation if needed. It is important for us to provide a comfortable and safe environment for both children and parents.
Our learners age varies to a wide range, from infants to toddlers to young adults. We also take sessions of adults for neuro rehab, speech issues and hand functions. The majority of our learners are in preschool or school age range.
Yes, When we work with young children below the age of 3 years or even when working with infants we call it early intervention. Therapy at this age is highly effective. We use a play based approach and allow the child to lead the session and we manipulate the environment to create the challenges which push the child along the development milestones.
